Meet Our Staff
With 8 years of experience in the banking and finance industry, Angela came to Lowry State Bank in 2006 . After growing up in Morris and attending college in Marshall, she married a Lowry native. Angela volunteers with various organizations in the area and enjoys attending school and sporting events for her children, as well as, spending time at the lake.
Bob’s family moved to Lowry in 1959 when his father had the opportunity to purchase Lowry State Bank. Bob began working at the bank in 1972 and, after retiring in 2007, he returned as a part-time Customer Service Representative because he missed the customer interaction. During his spare time, he greatly enjoys spending time with his wife, two children, and two grandchildren.
Brenda is a long-time employee of Lowry State Bank and has lived in the Lowry area her entire life and has great appreciation for rural living. Brenda enjoys interacting with customers throughout the day. Her hobbies include spending time outdoors and at the lake, as well as, travelling as much as possible.
Carla joined Lowry State Bank in 2011; she brought with her over 30 years in the banking industry. Carla has lived in the area since the 1980’s and enjoys the rural setting that Lowry offers. During her free time, she enjoys gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.
Dave has been Lowry State Bank’s President since 2007. He started his community banking career in 1979, after serving in the military and obtaining his business degree from St. John’s University. A native of Glencoe, Dave has a strong agricultural background from growing up on a farm and working at a dairy farm throughout high school. When not at the bank, Dave and his wife Sue enjoy time with family and their quiet lifestyle in rural Lowry.
After 15 years of experience in the banking industry, Dena joined Lowry State Bank in 2009. The most enjoyable part of her job is getting to know customers and community members. Dena lives in rural Brandon and spends a majority of her time outdoors with family and friends. She also finds great joy in following her grandchildren through various sporting events.
John joined Lowry State Bank in 2013, with five years of experience as an Agricultural Lender. After growing up on a dairy farm near Villard, John’s decision to purchase his own farm in the early 1980’s was a simple one. When John isn’t working, he is trying to sneak in a golf game or two.
Kristin joined Lowry State Bank in 2015. Though she was new to the banking industry, Kristin is a Lowry native. After living in Texas for some time, she and her husband happily moved back to the area a couple of years ago; they missed the small-town lifestyle they both grew up with. During her free time, Kristin likes to travel, read, camp, and get involved in various community activities.
Shiona joined Lowry State Bank in 2014. Though she was new to the banking industry, she grew up in the Lowry area. As a Loan/Administrative Assistant, Shiona has a wide variety of responsibilities within the bank. She likes to spend her free time with friends and family and enjoys camping and the outdoors.
Theresa joined Lowry State Bank in 1998 after spending many years running a home-based daycare. She grew up on a dairy farm in Lake Mary Township and moved to Lowry with her husband in 1979. During her free time, she likes to garden, sew, play sports, hunt, fish, and spend time with her seven grandchildren.
Tori joined Lowry State Bank in 2015. Originally hailing from Morris, Tori currently lives on a farm outside of Starbuck. The most rewarding part of her job is finding the perfect product to fit her customers’ needs, desires, and lifestyles. Tori enjoys working on the farm with her fiancé and spending time with friends and family.
