Q: Why should I use Online Banking?

A: Lowry State Bank’s Online Banking will allow you to access your accounts 24 hours a day 7 days a week (excluding scheduled maintenance by our vendor). You will be able to manage your accounts when it is most convenient for you.



Q: How secure is Online Banking?

A: When you do your banking with Lowry State Bank’s Online Banking you can be assured that it is a secured environment and that your personal information is secure. Our Online Banking system uses industry standard technology including multi factor authentication, secured socket layer (SSL) protocol and 128 bit encryption. Firewalls and routers act as security guards for your data that is passing back and forth between computers. Lowry State Banks’ Online Banking will lock a user out after three failed attempts to log in. The user then will need to contact the Bank to have their credentials unlocked. Lowry State Bank’s Online Banking will also automatically log off a user after 10 minutes of no activity as an additional security feature.



Q: What can I do to increase the security of the system?

A: You should keep your user name and password confidential. Do not share them with anyone and make sure to use a strong password. Stronger passwords include capital and lower case letters, numbers and special characters. You can also have internet security software loaded on your computer that will prevent viruses, malware and hackers from gaining access to your computer.



Q: How do I enroll for Online Banking?

A: Simply go to www.lowrystate.com and click on the Personal Enroll link for individuals or Commercial Enroll link for businesses. Review the Enrollment Form Agreement and then click on the I Agree button. Enter the information on the enrollment form and click on submit. Then Lowry State Bank will be informed of your enrollment and will verify the information you have provided to determine if there are any discrepancies. Once everything is verified you will be notified that you can start using our Online Banking software.



Q: What do I need to access Online Banking?

A: To access Lowry State Bank’s Online Banking you will need a personal computer that has an acceptable browser. Currently internet explorer 7.0 or higher is supported and so is Mozilla Firefox3. If you want to be able to print out any information you will also need a printer.

Q: What is multi factor authentication?

A: Multi factor authentication is an additional level of security that we require to use the Lowry State Bank Online Banking software. This requires you to choose a picture and a phrase that you will need to verify when you log in. This helps to make sure that you are actually on our Online Banking software. We also have three rotating challenge questions that you will be prompted for to add an extra level of security over your accounts.



Q: What can I do in Online Banking?

A: Using Lowry State Bank’s Online Banking you can do the following items:

a. View history of your accounts.

b. View images of your paper based transactions.

c. View information on your accounts.

d. Make transfers between your accounts (including making loan payments).

e. Change and update your personal information.

f. Setup reminders or alerts to notify you of account balances or when a transaction needs to be done.

g. Request the ordering of official checks.

h. Use our convenient calculators to run loan amortization schedules, retirement projections, savings calculations and to calculate savings bond redemption values.

i. Mobile Banking from your smartphone, which enables all the above features.  Also allowing Mobile Depositing.

j. Enroll into our Bill Pay Program to pay your bills right from home.



Q: How much does Online Banking cost?

A: Lowry State Bank’s Online Banking is free to our customers to use. Any fees associated with any of our products or services will apply however so please ask to see our fee schedule.

Q: Will Lowry State Bank ever need to request my login user name, password, challenge questions or picture/phrase?

A: The Lowry State Bank will NEVER under any circumstances email you requesting any of these items for verification or any other reason. If you should ever get an email requesting this information immediately contact the Bank.



Q: Can I change my User ID?

A: No, your User ID is assigned at the time your Internet Banking account is set up. Once it is assigned, it cannot be changed. If you MUST have a different one, a new login would have to be created.



Q: Can I change my Password?

A: Yes, when you log into your Internet Banking Account, click into “Other Services” and then click on “Change Password”. You will have to enter in your Old Password and have to fill in your New Password two times. You will also have to answer two challenge questions and click on the “Submit” button. Your password must contain atleast 12 characters with at least 6 characters being letters, 2 characters being numbers, and 2 special characters. Your password is case sensitive!



Q: What if I forget my Password or get locked out?

A: Users have three tries to login before their password is locked out. We do not have access to your Password once you have changed it on your initial login to Lowry State Bank online. However, we can reset your password to a generic password and you will be required to change it to a password of your preference the next time you log in. Q: What if I get an error message?

A: If you get an error message, write down the message; then simply call the bank at (320) 283-5149 and we will work to resolve the problem as soon as possible.



Q: What are the transaction cut-off times for Lowry State Bank’s Online Banking?

A: We only process transactions and update information on business days. Our business days are typically Monday thru Friday. Transfers made after 2pm CST, will be processed on the next business day. Federal holidays are not included.
